Volunteer Night - San Diego Food Bank - November

About this event

One of IRL San Diego's core values is that we are a community that serves the community around us. This evening is not only a great time to connect with new friends but to also help our fellow San Diegans in need.

IMPORTANT: This is a 2 part registration! You MUST complete all these steps in order to attend.

• Create an account with the San Diego Food Bank

• Select the November 10 shift.

All spots are available on a first come first serve basis. If it shows "0 spots available" that means all spots are filled. We do this often though, so there will be more opportunities!

Please plan to arrive between 5:30-5:45 . Per the food bank, late arrivals after 5:45 will not be permitted to volunteer.

WHAT WE'LL BE DOING

• Inspecting, sorting, and labeling donations.

• Assembling food packages.

• Sorting and bagging produce for distribution.

• Cleaning up post-project.
