About this event

Come Join Us in Carlsbad for our Sunday Services! We are also on Zoom. See instructions below.

This week’s meditation, “Living By Rules or Principles,” helps us perceive the difference between rules versus principles when making moral decisions. In some faiths, rigid, externally applied rules often get broken because they are of limited relevance to many situations. In Gnosis, divine principles are not rigid but are experientially learned, so that they can be internally called upon to inform a wide variety of life decisions. The meditation takes us into a scene in which we experience how rules versus principles can influence two families’ choices of action.

Our Sunday Services include several different practices that bring us closer to the Divine. It's fine to come for the one you are most interested in or to come right at 9:30 and stay until 1:00. The normal schedule is as follows: 9:30 Participating in Gnostic songs with Zedek and his guitar. These songs are recorded as Zedek has recently passed. They relate to the theme of our metaphysical class and guided meditation. 9:45 Metaphysical lecture and discussion lead by a teacher of Gnosis. This week's topic is "A Restorative Path." 10:30 Yoga practices designed to prepare us for meditation 11:15 Guided Meditation and Discussion. 12:00- 12:45 Creation of icons and sharing of Icons If you have questions, call or text Mary.
