Fleet Feet Free Thanksgiving Day 5k Fun Run

About this event

Join Fleet Feet San Diego for a family-friendly morning of running, walking, and giving thanks! Get up and get moving before all the food and football on Thanksgiving Day. The first 175 registrants will receive a limited edition 2026 Fleet Feet Thanksgiving Day 5k t-shirt! Stick around after the run for morning refreshments and early access to Black Friday shopping deals.

Missed out on the first 175 free t-shirts? No worries! Extra t-shirts can be purchased in the Online Race Store or as you register! T-shirts will be available to order through Wednesday, 11/11.

We will start our informal 5k at 8am, and t-shirts will be available for pickup on Wednesday 11/25 from 11am-6pm, or Thanksgiving morning 11/26 starting at 7:15am. Please note, t-shirts will not be available for purchase at the event and must be ordered online before 11/11 .

Our route will be entirely on sidewalk and start and end at our store. Strollers will be able to traverse the course, so bring everyone! There will be a marked turnaround for a 1 mile option, too. Please note that this run follows a "fun run" format, which means that the route will be marked, but roads will not be closed. All runners, walkers and participants will be required to follow all pedestrian traffic laws for safety.

This event is FREE! As in years past, we are asking for donations of canned food for the San Diego Food Bank to benefit those in need.

Email community@fleetfeetsandiego.com with any questions. Free t-shirts are reserved in order of registration and are available while supplies last!

**Please note that t-shirts will not be available to purchase the morning of the run or in-store!
