🥾🌳 2026 Picnic & Potluck Hike! 🧺☀️ Join us for our 2026 Picnic Hike! All hiking levels are welcome!

We will meet at 7:45 and start promptly at 8am! 📍 Distance: 7 miles round trip ⛰️ Elevation Gain: 708 ft 🥾 Pace: Relaxed and easygoing — no rushing!

This is always such a fun hike! We did it a few times last year and had a great time, so we're bringing it back!

We'll hike 3.5 miles to a shaded picnic area with tables, where we'll stop to enjoy a potluck lunch, relax, and socialize. We'll spend about 1 to 1.5 hours hanging out before hiking the remaining 3.5 miles back to the parking lot.

Along the way, we'll get to enjoy the beautiful vernal pools and historic Adobe House , adding a little scenery and history to our adventure! This is not a fast-paced hike. The goal is to enjoy the outdoors, good food, and even better company!

🥗 Potluck: Bringing a dish to share is completely optional! You're welcome to contribute your favorite dish, snack, or treat, but it's absolutely not required to join the hike. Everyone is welcome!

🎒 What to bring:

• Plenty of water

• Your own lunch

• A dish or snack to share (optional)

• Hiking poles if you use them

• Your appetite and good vibes! 😎

🚗 Parking: There is a $6 per person fee payable at an honor-system drop box. Please bring cash!

📵 Important: Cell service in the area is very limited, so please plan ahead, download your directions before arriving, and arrive early to allow enough time to find the meeting location and park.

Come out, enjoy some trail time, explore the vernal pools and Adobe House, meet new friends, and share a meal with fellow hikers!
