- ➤ Oceanside Theatre Company announced its 2026 Subscription Season at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater, presenting three shows — a political satire, a musical comedy, and a dark musical drama. Season subscriptions are on sale for productions starting in March, May, and October 2026. The Vista Press

- ➤ Oceanside Public Library’s Oceanside READS Learning Center launches a new free online Cafecito English Conversation Class for adults. The Zoom class will meet every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting February 4 (all levels welcome). The Vista Press
- ➤ The Classical Academies invites new students and families to open house events for 2026 enrollment at campuses in Escondido, Oceanside and Vista. Sessions run from Jan. 15 to Feb. 5 with meetings held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (details available online). The Vista Press

- ➤ Shalom Wildlife Hospital in Solana Beach is now open to treat sick and injured wild animals (volunteers have already joined) as Dr. Erica Ellis nurses small creatures hurt by human actions back to health so they can be released. CBS8
