- ➤ The San Diego County Water Authority released draft water plans that show diverse supplies and efficiency will meet regional needs through 2050. Public review runs until April 25, 2026 (hearing on April 23 and final adoption on May 28) before submission is due by July 1. The Vista Press

- ➤ San Diego County officials issued a Heat Advisory for Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. as temperatures are predicted to be 20 to 25 degrees above average; they advise residents & pet owners to stay hydrated, wear lightweight clothing, and schedule outdoor activities during cooler hours.
