- ➤ Oceanside Public Library and The Princess Project San Diego are hosting a free prom dress and accessory giveaway at John Landes Community Center Library (2855 Cedar Rd) on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 for high school teens; registration is required with a valid ID. The Vista Press
- ➤ Downtown events saw success as Taste of Spring 2026 welcomed 500 guests who shopped and dined, boosting local businesses. On June 27, the community will march in the USA 250 parade to mark 250 years of the United States + festivities will follow at the Amphitheatre. The Vista Press
- ➤ Frontwave Credit Union and Frontwave Foundation host Pawpalooza, a free pet adoption festival at 1278 Rocky Point Drive in Oceanside Saturday, April 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event features adoptable dogs, cats & rabbits, food trucks & games and gives 100 dollars toward each adoption fee.
