The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce will host a Business Mixer at Brookdale Oceanside on June 26 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with complimentary food, a host bar, live music by Small Batch Ramblers and raffle prizes—OCC members will pay $10 while prospective members pay $40.
They will also hold Second Tuesday Coffee on July 8 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM in their conference room where members join free and non-members pay $40 with online registration required.
🌲 Environment
Clean Energy Alliance is introducing Battery Bonus Connect and Solar Plus Connect—state-funded programs offering no-cost battery installations and discounted solar systems to income-qualified households, including those on the CARE program.
Homeowners in the service area can apply online to lower energy bills and secure backup power.
🏥 Health
Raider, a rescued one-year-old lab mix from Labs and More Rescue, is training with Shelter to Soldier to serve as a morale dog for Navy crew aboard the USS Makin Island.
His training began in April and he will live on the ship full time starting in August — a step aimed at boosting mental wellness among service members.
