- ➤ Oceanside Police arrested 30-year-old Esteban Rivas after he allegedly attacked his brother with a samurai sword at the 800 block of Arthur Avenue at 6:35 a.m.—the victim suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital while Rivas surrendered after a few hours and was booked into San Diego County Jail.
