- ➤ Clean Energy Alliance is launching a second round of bilingual energy workshops in Oceanside and Vista to gather local input for its Energy Programs Plan—one session will be held on November 5 at Libby Lake Community Center in Oceanside, and additional sessions are planned for Solana Beach and Del Mar. The workshops will be held in Spanish with English translation to ensure all residents can share their views. The Vista Press

- ➤ North County’s California Pacific Ballet Academy presents The Nutcracker at Oceanside’s Star Theatre on November 22 and 23 with showings at 7:00 p.m. on November 22 and at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on November 23; the full-length ballet features 70 dancers (ages 4 and up) performing Tchaikovsky’s classic that captures the holiday spirit. - ➤ Last Saturday, the San Diego County Water Authority celebrated the graduation of its 1,000th community leader in the Citizens Water Academy fall class that began in 2014.
