- ➤ Downtown Oceanside is gearing up for a week of events—family-friendly Haunted Sunset Market on October 30, vibrant Día de los Muertos on October 26, and a musical at the Star Theatre. - ➤ After last year’s sold-out show, Custard Pie and The Brian Jones Rock ’n’ Roll Revival will perform a Rolling Stones tribute at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater on November 8 at 7 PM—tickets cost between $25 and $35 for general admission and $65 for VIP seating. The Vista Press
- ➤ Oceanside Museum of Art is honoring architect Irving J. Gill with its new exhibition Modern Simplicity: The Architecture of Irving J. Gill in Oceanside, which will run from November 1 to April 26 and feature an exhibition celebration on November 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The museum will also expand its campus by adding Historic Fire Station #1 to highlight Gill’s lasting impact on local design & offer new cultural experiences.
