- ➤ Downtown Oceanside will host a series of holiday events from November 29 through December 24 to boost local shopping and community fun—featuring scavenger hunts, holiday markets, tree lightings, special classes, and family runs. - ➤ Friends of the Oceanside Public Library are hosting a Holiday Craft and Book Sale on December 6 at the Oceanside Civic Center Library Community Room and Courtyard at 330 North Coast Highway; the event will feature handmade crafts, a silent auction, and books sold at $1 each + entry opens at 10:00 a.m. for the public with early access at 9:00 a.m. for members. - ➤ Salty Clean offers professional trash can cleaning services—using hot pressure washing technology—to sanitize residential cans and keep contaminated water out of local waterways. - ➤ Oceanside Museum of Art announced its 2025–26 Artist Alliance Biennial—a juried exhibition of 53 artworks by Artist Alliance members—that will open November 22. - ➤ In the third quarter, 13% of San Diego County households could afford a $1 million home—that rate remained unchanged from the second quarter and increased from 12% last year. Statewide, home prices dropped 2% from the previous quarter but rose 0.8% year-over-year as lower mortgage rates brought more buyers back. CBS8
