- ➤ Oceanside officials and theater staff broke through a wall at Sunshine Brooks Theater on Dec. 16 to begin a three-month renovation in downtown Oceanside. The first phase (connecting Studio 219 to the main lobby) will improve safety and access, with plans for an expanded lobby and new restrooms. The Coast News
