Directions from San Diego : Take I-15 north and exit West on Rancho Peñasquitos Blvd which becomes Carmel Mtn Rd. Turn right on Black Mtn Rd and right on Oviedo Street. Turn right again on OVIEDO WAY and go to the end of the street then enter the park on the right. (There are signs to Hilltop Community Park, but they are rather small.)

Wear good hiking shoes and dress in layers. Take water, a snack, sunscreen and a hat. Dogs on leash OK. Rest rooms.
