Fall Flavors Breadmaking Class

Grainbakers is bringing our Fall Flavors series to Weir Beer in Vista, a darling brewery with plenty of room to spread out. At the end of the brewer's day, we'll take Weir Beer's fresh spent grain and work it into a beautiful artisan bread dough.

Come early and make a night of it. Weir Beer pours a rotating lineup of hazy IPAs, pilsners and seltzers on 24 taps, with non-alcoholic options too. The taproom is dog- and kid-friendly with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so your friends can settle in while you're in class.

Guests will make the Grainbakers Spent Grain Artisan Bread Dough. Once created, you can customize your bread by adding flavors from our Inclusions bar. This class will have many selections, including:

• Pumpkin & Spice

• Maple Walnut

• Dark Chocolate and Cherry

• UBE Cardamom and Spice (Purple Sweet Potato)

• Honey Sea Salted Whole Wheat

• Rosemary and Sea Salt

• Cinnamon Raisin

• Jalapeño, Cheddar & Bacon

• Other inventive inclusions from our Inclusions bar

Class includes:

• Lecture and hands-on instruction to make artisan spent grain baked bread

• Recipe and instruction guide

• Super fun mixing session to make your dough

• One BIG loaf of bread in its first rise, ready to bake at home

• Extra spent grain for your freezer and recipes to make more bread

VIP / FAQ:

You will bake your bread at home.

Participants must be 14 and have a ticket. See Kids Policy.

Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
