- ➤ Today, Supervisor Jim Desmond announced that the EPA and Mexican officials signed an agreement to fund projects that will stop raw sewage from Tijuana from entering local waters. The plan provides $93 million in new funding—starting two major construction projects this year to divert 10 million gallons per day and expanding a wastewater plant by August, with projects set to finish by December 31, 2027.
