The Daily Oceanside team
If you live or own a business in Oceanside and want a say in your power provider, here's your opening. Clean Energy Alliance is seeking residents and business leaders to fill seven seats on its Community Advisory Committee, with terms beginning in 2027.
Oceanside shares the list with Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, San Marcos, Solana Beach, and Vista. The committee gives the board of directors feedback on operational matters and links the board to the local community. Candidates with backgrounds in electricity, community outreach, or policy advocacy get preference.
255,000+customers served across the seven cities
Clean Energy Alliance is a locally controlled, not-for-profit power provider serving more than 255,000 customers.
